Diane Moretti was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated Phi Beta Kapp from The
College of Wooster with a BA in International Relations. Diane has lived throughout the United
States and abroad but currently resides in the greater Houston area. She has worked as an
Essay & Resume Specialist with Admit You to College since 2017.
Concurrently, Diane has been an English teacher at Title 1 schools for nine years. During the
2017-18 school year, she was awarded Spring Independent School District Secondary Teacher of
the Year from among several hundred teachers for her ability to develop connections with
students, consistently high standardized test scores, and leadership in the district. Diane's
greatest satisfaction in teaching comes from forming bonds with students and fostering the
pride that comes when a student succeeds. Watching a student develop their unique writer's
voice is a joy for her every time it happens.
Her interests outside of education include:
• Hiking and camping in the national parks (31 and counting!) and traveling anywhere as
often as possible.
• Spending time with her two young adult children.
• Playing countless games of online Scrabble.
• Singing alto in her church choir.
